Human Factors is understanding how and why people behave the way they do. Understanding how humans interact with each other and the systems in place at work, can lead us to improve our understanding of how incidents happen.
GMR Human Performance will be delivering full-day sessions to project manager-level people from organisations across HS2 in Apr. They will be 0900-1500 on 17, 18, 24 & 25 Apr at ALIGN JV South Portal, and the intent from Alan Swann is that those in positions of tasking and influence over the ‘Black Hat’ Supervisors are better informed as to what is being shared in the Supervisor Development Programme 2-hour Human Factors and Just Culture sessions.
Additionally, the sessions will expand into Safety Space, Interface Management and Reporting, in order to contextualise from a management perspective, thus enabling Management to better support the Supervisors both day-to-day and during any Learning Reviews.
